Keeping your Job
For many people, especially those experiencing mental health symptoms, maintaining employment can be challenging. Without proper work readiness preparation, self-care, medication management (if applicable), support systems in place, housing, transportation, communication skills, and symptom management you risk losing your job. Community Connection will support and guide you through the process of identifying your needs and making sure that you are well equipped to start working. Staff will provide job coaching (on & off site), individualized employment counseling, be available for advocacy and/or mediation support with employer and be available as needed to ensure you maintain your employment position.
